Our environment is rapidly changing, and not for the better. Global warming is real and frightening. Our natural resources are being depleted at an alarming rate. The effect of 'greenhouse gases' is causing a disturbance in our weather and climate. Natural disasters are occurring around the world. What can we do to help stop the detrimental changes to our environment? Educating ourselves and understanding what it all means is the first step. Even a small step is better than no step. Make changes in the way we live. Recycle, use earth friendly products, find alternative sources of energy, such as wind power and solar power. Buy recycled products. Recycling helps the environment by cutting down on the amount of trash that ends up in the landfills, which are also becoming overfilled. Food leftovers can be used in compost gardens when you grow your own vegetables. Don't use aerosol sprays or other aerosol products such as hair spray, air fresheners, deodorants and other things that come in a spray can. Don't dump waste in the streams and rivers. Do some research on how you can contribute to saving the environment and all our natural resources.
